Ezine Links

Ezine Links have long been a great source of of back links for affiliate marketers, myself included!  As of today Ezine.com has a PR6 (Page Rank 6) making it easier for you to get a high quality back link or two back to your site.

What Are Back Links?

The easiest way to explain a back link is to call it a “Vote of Confidence…”  I like your site so much or I think that your site is such a great authority on a certain topic that I want to link to your site directly giving my reader (end user) the opportunity see what’s on your site.

Google™ likes to see this, in fact, it’s the majority of what their Ranking Algorithm is based upon.  The idea being, the more people linking to your site the better your site is ranked and the higher it appears in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Page).

Ezine Links-How To

Ezine.com is great and very easy way to get high quality back links to your site!  Now it’s not the only such site and NO you do not want all of your back links coming from Ezine.com, but it is one of the major players, I personally use it and highly recommend it!

The Bio Box

In any article marketing directory there is a “Bio Box.”  This is where you explain a bit about yourself, but most importantly, this is where you will link back to your “onsite” article with a relevant keyword.

Below is a great example of a “Bio Box” and how it can be used to great effect!

Step 1

Set yourself apart from the rest of the article “DRAW ATTENTION” to yourself by writing and bolding an “About The Author” section in you bio box.  The HTML code to do this </b> About The Author</b>

Step 2

Next you want to make your chosen anchor text live and clickable linking back to your post and/or main site.  These are the links you want going back to you, quality links with good “link juice” and relative to your post/page.  The HTML code for this is as follows:

<a href=”http://www.yourwebiste.com>Anchor Text</a>.   This creates a live link like ezine links shown below.

Ezine Links Benefits-The Cool Part

Now that you have your article uploaded, keywords, summary and  Bio Box done all you need to is submit your article to Ezine for approval and this is where it gets good!  There are no guarantees, but more often than not your article will get picked up by other “bloggers” looking to fill in their sites.

If they follow Ezine’s rules, your article and bio box will show up in their site, linking back to yours.  Not only do you have a link from Ezine, but from the 3rd party site as well.  Just imagine, this can grow exponentially and there are services such as SEOLinkVine that can do this even faster.

Those are the basics of back linking with Ezine.com.  Ezine links if done right can be some of the best and most effective ways of creating solid “one-way” back links to your site.  This bio box idea goes the same for all other Ezine.com type article directories as well.
